timer_delete( timer_t timerid);
() system call deletes the specified timer,
, previously created by the
system call. If the timer is armed when
() is called, the behavior is as if the timer is automatically disarmed before removal. Pending signals for the deleted timer are cleared.
RETURN VALUES Upon successful completion, the value 0 is returned; otherwise the value -1 is returned and the global variable
errno is set to indicate the error.
() system call will fail if:
The timer ID specified by
timerid is not a valid timer ID.
timer_delete() system call conforms to IEEE Std 1003.1-2004 (“POSIX.1”).
